`Who would destroy you?

To break my spells might lead to the very dissolution of the Fifteen Planes (разрушить = разрушение моих заклинаний может привести к крушению Пятнадцати Плоскостей; dissolution — растворение; распад, крах) — and the extinction of the Sword Rulers themselves (и к уничтожению самих Повелителей Мечей). No, you must do the thieving for me (нет, ты должен совершить кражу для меня). No other, in this whole plane, would have the courage — or the motivation (ни у кого другого во всей этой плоскости нет мужества /для этого/ — или мотивации). For if you do this thing, I will restore Rhalina to you (ибо если ты сделаешь это, я верну тебе Ралину). And, if you still wish it, you will have the power to take your vengeance on Glandyth-a-Krae (и, если все еще желаешь, у тебя будут силы отомстить Гландиту-а-Краэ). But, I assure you, the real one to blame for the very existence of Glandyth is the Knight of the Swords (но, уверяю тебя, кого нужно действительно винить за само существование Гландита — так это Рыцаря Мечей), and by stealing this thing from him, you will be thoroughly avenged (украв эту вещь у него, ты будешь полностью отомщен).

`Plainly you know nothing of Gods (очевидно, ты ничего не знаешь о богах). If you killed the Knight, the consequences would be unimaginable (если ты убьешь Рыцаря, последствия будут невообразимыми). He does not keep his heart in his breast (он не хранит свое сердце в груди). It is better guarded than that (оно лучше охраняется, чем так = оно охраняется гораздо лучше). His heart is kept on this plane (его сердце находится в этой плоскости). His brain is kept on another — and so on (его мозг хранится в другой — и так далее). This protects him, do you see (это защищает его, понимаешь)?

The young lips curled in a growl that was almost Mabden (юные губы искривились в оскале, который был почти мабденским; growl — рычание, ворчание).

`I am glad you are not immortal, Master Corum (я рад, что ты не бессмертный, господин Корум). Your arrogance will only plague me for a few hundred years at the most (твое высокомерие будет досаждать мне лишь несколько сотен лет максимум; to plague — зачумлять; мучить, беспокоить). Very well, I will show you Rhalina (хорошо, я покажу тебе Ралину). I will show that she is safe (покажу, что она невредима). But I will not release her (но не отпущу ее). I will keep her here and deliver her to you when the heart of the Knight of the Swords is brought to me (я оставлю ее здесь и передам тебе, когда сердце Рыцаря Мечей будет принесено мне; to bring).

Shool disappeared behind a cloud of milky green smoke that came from nowhere (Шул исчез за облаком молочно-зеленого дыма, которое возникло откуда ни возьмись). A scene formed in the smoke (картина образовалась в дыму). Corum saw the ship of the dead and he saw the cabin (Корум увидел корабль мертвецов и каюту). He saw the corpse of the Margrave embracing the living flesh of his wife, Rhalina, the Margravine (он увидел, как труп маркграфа обнимает живое тело своей жены, Ралины, маркграфини). And Corum saw that Rhalina was shouting with horror but unable to resist (увидел, что Ралина кричит от ужаса, но не в силах сопротивляться).
